ENGO MV International (ENGO-MVI) - ITALY

The European Non-Governmental Organization (ENGO) MV International (MVI) is a network of 37 European NGOs (one per Country and with members in each of the 27 countries of the EU), 8 associate organizations from Africa (Cameroon, Kenya, Senegal and Uganda), Latin America (Argentina and Peru) and Asia (India and China) aimed at promoting participatory planning between NGOs fostering the exchange of knowledge among professionals in the field of European design. ENGO MVI is a global platform open to organisations working within the fields of Youth, Non-Formal Education, Sport and Culture. Created in 2012,

MVI is today a global actor closely cooperating with its 37 member organizations, international NGOs, and public and private sector stakeholders. Its thousands individual members from 27 European countries represent a diverse group of people active within European projects, youth, non formal education, social entrepreneurship, sport and cultural activities.

MVI has a growing experience in establishing new thematic Consortium, promoting new partnerships, developing and implementing EU projects and organising high-profile European congresses, conferences and hearings. To fulfil these objectives,

MVI concentrates on three key areas: project activities, education and policymaking/advocacy efforts. Apart from promoting events and educational programmes,

MVI takes a full role in the public debate on civil society engagement in its topics of interest and strives to influence policies in these areas. As an international umbrella organisation,

MVI further has the capacity to exploit results of the project directly via its membership, which counts 27 members in the EU and 37 in the European continent. This platform provided a strong base to not only sustainability and roll-out of results in project partner organisations, but also in a substantial subsequent dissemination and exploitation.

MVI is also centrally placed to execute a broad-reaching dissemination and exploitation of the project. ENGO MVI is a non profit “association of associations” that intends to carry out social involvement and community building activities for its members and stake holding (third) parties encouraging participation, freedom and dignity of its members.
