Transnational Partner Meetings in Erasmus+ Capacity Building Projects

Erasmus+ transnational partner meetings are crucial gatherings for project teams working on capacity building actions within the Erasmus+ program. These meetings bring together representatives from all partner organizations involved in the project.

  • Project Implementation and Coordination: Partner meetings serve as a platform to discuss progress, address challenges, and ensure all partners are on the same page regarding project activities.

  • Sharing Expertise and Best Practices: Each partner organization brings its unique strengths and experiences to the table. Meetings facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration, fostering a more impactful project.

  • Decision-Making and Planning: Partners use these meetings to make joint decisions about project direction, resource allocation, and future actions. They often involve planning for upcoming activities and setting clear deadlines.

  • Relationship Building: Meeting face-to-face allows partners to build rapport, strengthen communication, and foster a sense of teamwork, which is essential for project success.

Meetings can be:

  • In-person: These gatherings offer valuable face-to-face interaction and cultural exchange, but travel costs can be a factor.

  • Online: Virtual meetings are a convenient and cost-effective option, particularly during times when travel is restricted.

  • Hybrid: Combining online and in-person elements can be a good compromise, allowing for both interaction and cost-effectiveness.

Additional points to consider:

  • The Erasmus+ program generally covers some of the costs associated with transnational partner meetings.

  • The frequency of meetings depends on the project's needs and timeline.

  • A well-defined agenda and clear objectives are crucial for productive meetings.

By effectively utilizing transnational partner meetings, project teams working on Erasmus+ capacity building actions can ensure successful collaboration, knowledge exchange, and ultimately, achieve their project goals.

To ensure effective coordination and collaboration among all the actors and stakeholders involved in the action, a kick-off meeting will be held in Spain. This meeting will serve as an opportunity to establish a shared vision and create synergies that will enable the achievement of the action's objectives. The committees responsible for different aspects of the project will also be appointed during the meeting. In addition, the meeting will provide a platform for the presentation of the project and the definition of financial, management, monitoring, and dissemination strategies. This will facilitate the creation of a synergy of actions that will address all aspects of the project implementation. A specific visibility strategy, including the design of a logo, brochures, and leaflets, will be developed to promote the dissemination of the project. To ensure accountability, attendance lists will be signed and stored, and photographs will be taken to document the event.
