Activities and Structure

On 27 February 2026, Chabibeh Sporting Club organized its Multiplier Event in Beirut, bringing together 38 local participants, including youth, representatives from local NGOs, and community stakeholders.

The event was structured to be interactive and informative. The session began with a comprehensive presentation of the DEVMIGRA project, its objectives under the Erasmus+ framework (Project No: 101131322), and an overview of the partnership involving Lebanon, Jordan, Spain, and Italy. The core of the event focused on the presentation and dissemination of the project's main result: the new mediation skillset for youth workers.

Attendees were introduced to the training manual and practical tools designed to enhance the psychosocial support and mediation capacities of those working with young migrants. The presentation used real-world scenarios to contextualize the resources, making them relevant to the specific challenges and opportunities present in the Lebanese context. The session facilitated an open discussion, allowing local youth workers to share their experiences and explore how the project's resilience-based methodologies could be integrated into their daily work with migrant communities. The event concluded with a networking session, encouraging collaboration among the attendees.

  • Contextual Relevance: The discussion confirmed the high relevance of mediation and resilience-building skills for youth workers in Lebanon, validating the project's focus.

  • Increased Awareness: Participants gained a clear understanding of the DEVMIGRA project's outputs and how to access them for future use. The event also sparked interest in the broader Erasmus+ programme as a resource for professional development.

  • Network Strengthening: The event reinforced Chabibeh Sporting Club’s role as a hub for community development and strengthened its connections with other local actors working with migrant youth.

Impact and Visibility

The event successfully enhanced the visibility of the DEVMIGRA project within the local network of youth and community organizations in Beirut. By targeting key stakeholders, the project's results were placed directly into the hands of practitioners. The discussions and networking initiated at the event laid the groundwork for potential future collaborations and the integration of the project’s tools into local practices. The multiplier effect ensures that the knowledge shared will continue to spread as attendees apply these new insights in their own spheres of work.

Conclusion
